The innovative labyrinth folded horn enclosure incorporates a 1000 Watt RMS 15 inch driver specifically designed to withstand the large excursions typical of high level sub bass reproduction. Large deflector ports ensure optimum enclosure tuning whilst reducing turbulent air noise and when coupled with the TFR15-02L forms the bass foundation for a very powerful Blacka Acoustics portable club system, equally suitable for dance venues and ideal for live music reproduction.

The 480 includes 4 inputs and 8 outputs which can be tailored for any configuration. By including every form of processing necessary to drive the signal from the mixer to the power amps, such as pre-crossover EQ, notch filters, speaker delay, multiple crossovers, speaker compensation equalizer, driver alignment delay, and compression/limiting, the 480 is truly the only box you’ll need for any sound system application. Two real time analyzers can be run simultaneously with RTA source inputs capable of being remotely switched on the fly. The 480 is fully programmable from the front panel, with the 480R remote control, or through a computer via the GUI port.

The modern generation of graphic eq's uses the Constant Q topology, pioneered by BSS Audio, which means that the filter width is constant whatever the fader gain setting. Compared to the earlier 'gyrator' style of filters, Constant Q filters provide a smoother and more predictable interaction between adjacent faders and the resulting eq curve more closely resembles the actual fader positions. Each eq fader has +/-15dB of adjustable gain, more than many competitive graphic eq's.

The unit is housed in a rugged aluminum extrusion case, with robust polyurethane end- cheeks, which give the AR-133 a very distinctive look. Input connectors are both 1/4" jack sockets and an XLR socket, the latter meaning that the AR-133 can be used to convert unbalanced signals to a balanced output on XLRs throughout.The arched case allows cables to run back underneath the unit from the end for neat cable management. The unit includes phantom power and battery supplies as standard. Should the phantom power from the console fail or be accidentally switched off, the AR-133 automatically switches over to the internal 9V battery providing uninterrupted use.
